Clearwater Beach, Fla. — PTI Engineered Plastics, a Macomb, Mich.-based custom injection molder, is Plastics News‘ 2023 Processor of the Year.

PTI specializes in low-volume complex parts and has tooling and design expertise. It serves a diverse customer base including medical, automotive, defense/aerospace, and commercial/consumer products companies.

The winner was named March 13 at the Plastics News Executive Forum in Clearwater Beach.

PTI won high marks in all the Processor of the Year criteria: financial performance, quality, customer relations, employee relations, environmental performance, industry and public service, and technological innovation.
